K—5th grade

Journey to the Son!  Come and join us on our journey as we reach our children in a new and exciting way.   We use the rotation model for our children’s programs.  The children be taught many important Bible stories/lessons, they will also participate in monthly service projects, have a monthly “surprise” lesson, and sing and recite scriptures suited to their level.  By using the rotation model, the stories/lessons will be reinforced through cooking, computers, art, science, drama, music, physical movement or some other creative means.  Each month will have a focus Bible story/lesson.   Children are encouraged to learn the stories/lessons, memorize scripture and apply it to their life in meaningful ways.  Our service times are 9:30-10:45 (with a kids’ time during service for kids K-5).  Our Sunday school time is from 11:00-12:00 every Sunday.  Join us as God’s word is revealed one experience at a time through our Journey to the Son!

Volunteers for Chair Rotation Needed!

 

We need people who can lift chairs to come, one Sunday a month,

in the morning, to set up chairs for service.

L O S T   A N D   F O U N D

Please check to see if you have any belongings in the lost and found, located on the rack across from the office.  Dishes leftover from funeral dinners are also on the coat rack.  All items not collected will be taken to the Salvation Army in January, 2009.

Donate Old Cell Phones

If you have an old cell phone, please consider donating it to the VA hospital.  Phones are used for 911 purposes only.  You can turn your phone in at the church office (please remove all personal information).  See Ruth Maxwell for more information.
